Why? Because we understood that biodiversity is not just an environmental issue. It supports climate stability, ecosystem resilience, and long-term economic security. By recognising that early, we helped catalyse investment in a field that was previously invisible to most investors.The same applies to OroraTech, a company using satellite-based thermal imaging to detect wildfires. When we invested, wildfire intelligence was barely on the radar of the venture ecosystem. But the science was clear. Wildfires were increasing fast. We invested well before policymakers made wildfire resilience a global priority. Today, OroraTech is a critical partner to governments, insurers, and corporations around the world.
Backing the Boldest Before the World Notices

With Quantistry, we recognised that chemistry sits at the heart of some of the world’s most carbon-intensive and least-innovated industries. Quantistry uses quantum chemistry and AI to redesign how materials and molecules are created, cutting costs, speeding development, and reducing environmental impact. Their platform accelerates breakthroughs in batteries, polymers, coatings, and sustainable chemicals, showcasing how computational chemistry will drive industrial decarbonisation.
With Resistomap, we saw that AMR is only one dimension of a broader biosecurity challenge shaped by geopolitical fragility and pollution-driven pathogen risks. Resistomap delivers bio-surveillance, threat detection, and soon prediction, helping industries, governments, and supply chains anticipate and mitigate biological threats. This is not just a public health issue; it is a commercial imperative in a world where biological risks carry real operational and regulatory consequences.
